Rarest Super Scope Game!
This is the 100% authentic original game in very good shape. OEM means Original Equipment Manufacture. If looking for most cost-effective reproduction click here.
One of the two rarest of the snes Super Scope games. Called “Destructive” in Japan. Blitzkrieg is a German term for short, shocking war tactic that hits enemies hard and fast.
What to expect, the usual 90’s style bleak modern future filled with cyborgs, big robot bosses, flying warships, tanks, and all that goes in-between. The story is: The Sylon Corporation has developed a series of robots dubbed the XT7 Cyborg Commando Fighting Machines, and guess what they lost control, are tarrying the city, and only solution to destroy them.
Gameplay usual repaid fire, with alternative rockets, and power ups. Its usual arcade style on rail shooter.
Game has 5 fair size levels, with checkpoints between, & infinite continues. Game also has three difficulty settings and if beat game on Expert difficulty you get better ending and get to later levels. Each level has tricky boss, where you need to find weak points.
Game more on difficult level, but skilled players or quick learners will keep up reasonable. It becomes a rush of taking down the enemy before he take you down. Heath packs become vital and if let your guard down in later levels enemies can get drop on you. This game much more practical to play with Super Stunner 6. As extra quick response in the game goes a long way. When the Vintex 64 where testing the Stunner conversation we design the buttons with little more response just to beat this game on expert level.
You face many of similar robots, but game does have some creative enemy’s later, but not huge amount of variety. As such some may find it repetitive. The pace and speed not as fast/pace as other light gun games. The graphics and sound are okay, but not to high quality like Battle Clash. As such nothing really stands above. Many find this title in similar context of X-Zone.
Not a bad game, but not the greatest game in Super Scope library. Still for fans of sci-fi, snes light gun, in general you can have fun with this one to make your Super Scope or Super Stunner 6 more enjoyable
