Can you sell me original/authentic PCB Blanks?
We moved to this PCB and don't sell original blanks anymore. At your end, you could just find a donor game and swap ROM chip over. We don't like original quality.
I cannot solder, but if got this PCB. What can I do?
Try to find a local school with electronics lab, TV repair shop, local electronics service or advance computer store; you’re looking for someone with some soldering skills. When they look at this PCB, if they know anything, they will know be easy to do. Can let him/her know Nintendo 64 Game chips are tough, but try ovoid over-heating them. Particularly save chips. If can have 2nd game with same save chip or CIC chip. So if one is bad there a spare.

I ask a guy who know how to solder. He says it not worth it.
He may only do things for big money, or he not know that much, or he's worried not easy to fix. Could ask him to do when slow, if not good at soldering should not ask him, tell him not worry, just follow regular practice.
Your listing pictures show sockets to pre-test game chips before final install.
Correct, some people buy extra PCBs and make a socketed model to pre-test the chips. Upon request we can ship you sockets. Just need make sure your chip pins are straight/re-bent into place.
What the big deal about 4 layer and 2oz copper PCB? I don’t know much about electronics.
- The original N64 PCB is 2 layers; one on top & one on bottom & only 1oz thick; that how thick the wires/copper are on top/bottom. High end gigabyte motherboards are 2oz copper.
- This repair/replace PCB has another two layer between (sandwich inside) one dedicated Ground & another dedicated Voltage this give the chips a lot of happy stable power & reduces electromagnetic interference.
- This PCB likely has more copper than many small tablets, or cell phone. Some electrical engineers will find this design way over kill, but in our experience the minor cost increase will ensure more stability & reliability.
- Repair shops need to save time. The oval pads save labor/time in being able repair these in less time.
- To put it simple, picture using a power drill with a new shorter heavy duty extension cord - that our PCB. Now picture a long thinner extension cord that is over 20 years old – that would be original N64 PCB.
- When you see our N64 stuff boot with ease, and no blowing needed, you’ll notice the difference. You don't know to know much about electronics to know it dam well works!
