Ported from the 1989 arcade scrolling shooter. This Snes version converted to N64 has reduced difficulty from arcade version to make it more playable for average players. You have the option to continue when lose your lives. The soundtrack copied from the original, and was popular enough for own albums releases.
Game does suffer from slowdowns. This version is not hacked or modified to reduce slowdowns. Yet, some players actually like the slow-down to help with gameplay.
As one of the first Snes shooters it graphically reflects the original coin-op. Yet, even with these shortcomings the gameplay shines through.
