TEG Peru is known for bootleg/mod of other consoles in Brazil, but they made this N64 effort.
This game a mod of Konami’s International Superstar Soccer 64 (ISS64) to make it more localized for Brazil. The intro, title screen, menus and music been changed/altered. Other changes include announcer completely replaced to Portuguese (who has a heavy Spanish accent) and real player names added.
A reminder, a deal of text does remain in English so players need to know both Portuguese’s and English to fully understand everything in the game; as deal of original content remains the same.
The original was distributed in Brazil on Game Pak of its own around 1998. It is very rare now days, and was not of best workmanship then. It even required an adapter such as Passport 3 to even run; to borrow a CIC chip.
Now it’s available on a Vintex 64 top quality Game Pak of its own for all payers to enjoy with no adapters required. One of the most unique items on the N64, a great addition to soccer and N64 fans alike.
