“Space Pinball” an earlier version of “Galactic Pinball” with large portion of gaming content different. This prototype was first auctioned in 2005 for about $1,800. Later a copy of rom was distrusted to VB community.
All five pinball tables have a different feel, graphics, physics, and a simpler style of game-play. In addition, never-before-seen experimental 3D effect. Some aspects will be familiar to the final “Galactic Pinball” as noticeable improvements.
Worth noting this game/prototype was designed in conjunction with the Virtual Boy at Nintendo. And this prototype was used to demonstrate the VB during Shoshinkai 1994 & CES 1995 shows before official system launch.
This repro has no score save nor password system. As it was designed more for demonstrating the VB capabilities.
With much more gaming value than the average Tech demo, it’s a must have for “Galactic Pinball” fans. Also, a great edition for VB fans who’ll appreciate the rich history behind it.
