The classic original Virtual Boy launch title in a reproduction with original game/rom chip from past VB donors.
Mario Tennis on VB was well known for showing off the VB technology, good reply value, solid controllers, and decent gameplay.
With single or double matches, tournament mode, three difficulty settings, and seven Mario themed characters (each with strengths and weaknesses). Note, a password allows you access to other difficulty settings as game code has no internal save feature.
As the showcase title for the new VB technology it known for great VB graphics, attention to details, and neat 3D effects.
This game re-using past VB donor OEM/GAME chip. That means it's an official Mario Tennis game chip with new label, PCB, connector, & color shell; likely better quality than original/official.
Tennis games maybe not for everyone, but most general players had fun with this one. Sadly, no extra mini games and tournament mode not overly long. Also, if loose tournament match you must start at beginning. This game can get hard and take time to master, but codes can help adjust that.
Mario Tennis, highly rated game that became well welcomed to the limited Virtual Boy library.
