A Quality BTTF Game!
Only released in Japan, many find it odd how such a great/decent movie-based game was not released in North America.
Yet, this reproduction's for a great fan-translation version of the game.
Play as Marty McFly on his trusted hover-board where you jump, collect coins, avoided enemies, & defeat bosses.
Many call this game a Mario Bros on a hoverboard.
The presentation value & graphics are well created with a charming bobblehead animation style.
The game considered a solid average which quite an accomplishment given how many BTTF games where quite bad. That sort of goes to many movies to game ports in general at this time. The game follows the setting, story, and plot very closely to the film. Game contains cut-scenes that are well detailed and colorful which capture key moments of the film.
The music also pretty good. The title screen plays the theme song very clearly. Only minor downside is each level do loop the applicable soundtrack and the sound effects get muffled by the music.
Yet, the game can be clunky and frustrating at times, some boss fights can be hard, and some level design could be better.
Game saves via password system can continue to any level or skip a difficult level by checking online.
Overall, a nice little game that worth playing/trying. Fans of the movies will be very satisfied with this title. And at a nice low price its affordable to anyone with a Super Nintendo.
