Let’s start off with some dates:
The game was ambitious with a lot of quality. World map, theme set worlds, defeat bosses, enter shops, & watch out or Wilma & Betty who will drag you back to arbitrary location. The game is mostly simple plat former segments and is side scrolling. Avoiding hazards, defeating dinosaurs, Water Buffalo members, and other creatures. Got mini games as well.
We also have the Beta version available as well. The beta version pretty close to final game, but with some minor graphics differences, & admission fee for the park, 30 clams not 10 clams.
Game saves via passwords system to save your progress. Game bit on easier side as help with younger players.
Reviews where a bit mixed some calling it average while others really getting into the scale and ambition of this game. The action levels that most of the game are said to be reasonably good. Has a lot of visual variety.
Considered unique enough in the Snes library. Sadly, does have some rough edges. Great title for Flintstones fans alike. Other players do find it a good game with value and good use of licensed property.

- The film “The Treasure of the Sierra Madre” was released in 1948.
- That film was based on novel released in 1927. Okay, I think that going back far enough.
