A light-gun rail shooter filled with futuristic robots, vehicles, & defense computer gone wild. Considered similar to Bazooka Blitzkrieg.
This title modestly recreates the arcade rail shooter experience at home. Game is fast pace with an array of enemies, boss battles, & action. It has two main attacks: machine gun rapid fire, & hold cursor secondary attack that lock on specific enemies. And the usual health power-ups.
The graphics and sound are of decent quality. Game not overly long with 4 main stages. Yet each stage has reasonable length, but expect some repetitive gameplay.
Not as feature packed as other light-games, the development value is bit on lower side; don't expect Battle Clash quality details. Yet it does have some imaginative aspects & sci-fi style. For example the last level has a neat 3D mainframe view with new enemies - see 2nd last image.
Later levels due get more difficult, so player may require some practice and diligence as the game throws a lot at you. You usual 3 difficulty settings, but the hard setting is bit of a legend in snes scene for being extreme hard. Likely too much for average Super Scope owners, yet the Super Stunner 6 does help give you a fighting chance. Most player will have the most fun on easy setting which is reasonable with the Super Stunner 6. The normal does get much more challenging. And for the very few that can beat hard you get alternative ending.
For those that don’t mind little less production value - X-Zone is another neat imaginative light-gun game on snes. It works well for what set out to do and with its own character/design it’s an overall decent light-gun game that many will likely enjoy.
