Mini Racers was announced in 1998, but was delayed many times and in the end never was released. It was likely cancelled being scheduled for release in the final days of the N64.
This version of Mini racers was patched to be nearly 90% complete!
The Game Features:
- 39 creative tracks that are quite varied with multiple paths.
- 3 modes of play: grand prix, time attached, and multiplayer mode.
- Nicely balanced AI opponents.
- Great music and sound effects.
- This version of game was also patched to repair some bugs.
Bear in mind, the game was not fully finished, the menus are in Japanese's, but are easy to navigate, and many settings are still in English. This cart does not have a save features; the game code can save, via 128Kbit SRAM, yet our board/cart not support it. Yet all features are unlocked to enjoy.
This Game Pak has two labels to choose from. The Top View (first image) & Nintendo Back Banner (second image). Selecting No Preference will assist in shipping this product out faster.
Given the above this prototype is considered to be one of the best Unreleased games to play on the N64.
