Zero Racers, (G-Zero) a futuristic racing game that feature 3D wire frame graphics similar to Red Alarm.
This promising title was planned to be a Virtual Boy re-release launch title; to accompany Bound High & Dragon Hopper. Instead the Virtual Boy and these game was cancelled abruptly; likely at the last moment due to its poor success of the Virtual Boy.
Zero Racers was 100% completed and heavily advertised in trade shows and magazines in preparation for fall of 1996 release. To quote an insider:
With four F-Zero like characters/vehicles, but unlike prior F-Zero games you race in all three dimensions in tunnel like track. You have usual Grand Prix & Practice mode & a total of fifteen tracks divided into three leagues.
Some sources noted it incorporate multiplayer support via Link cable which may been in this final version.
Likely the 2nd most wanted and promising Virtual Boy prototype game. Defiantly with the potential to be one of better titles on the system. Also, with potential for great Link Cable support. A lot of potential value in this grand title.
This listing was made in preparation for the future. We do not have Zero Racers at this time.
If/when Link Cable support can be confirmed label be updated for link support.

- "Zero Racers was done. We had a complete manual, package, and label done for the game. It went through LOT check, it had an ESRB rating. It was complete."
